About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and support our U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. accounting standards such as GAAP, with prior experience working with U.S. companies or clients being a plus. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting overall financial management for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and reconcile financial records following applicable accounting standards.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
4. Assist with audits and ensure the timely resolution of any discrepancies or issues.
5. Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the technology or services industry.
3. Proficient in the use of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.), spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools.
4. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies.
2. Understanding of financial accounting principles such as GAAP and IFRS.
