Oceaneering is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its Integrity Management and Digital Solutions business. This role will be primarily responsible for driving revenue growth with a strong emphasis on Digital Solutions, while also overseeing opportunities within Integrity Management. The Account Manager will identify key prospective clients, build and maintain robust customer relationships, and secure new business opportunities. The Digital Solutions division operates within Oceaneering’s Integrity Management and Digital Solutions segment. Its mission is to leverage cutting-edge digital products and services to help energy sector clients achieve safer, greener, more efficient, and cost-effective operations throughout the full lifecycle of their assets. The Digital Solutions portfolio includes a variety of asset management and inspection software, data collection applications, communication services, and managed network services — all tailored to address the unique challenges of offshore environments, including harsh conditions, remote locations, and operational complexity. Additionally, Oceaneering’s well-established expertise in inspection services enhances and complements its Digital Solutions offerings.
The candidate must be a motivated person with a passion for digital transformation, software, sales, and business development and like to work in a fast-paced working environment with ambitious targets.
The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in managed services and digital products in the following industries: Oil and Gas, Energy, Renewables, Processing, Chemicals or similar. The candidate possesses a strong understanding of a customer’s needs and perceived value.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Responsible for business development and sales of Engineered and Digital Solutions products & services.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in region.
Identify high value opportunities related to inspection business and communicate with commercial team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Collaborate in the development of sales strategies for the engineering and digital solutions portfolio.
Work closely with account managers in adjacent groups for multi-services opportunities.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Understand customers’ needs and give feedback to Technology and Product Management teams.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral.
Work with marketing team to create and execute winning marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
Working with key stakeholders in the implementation and strategic development of digital products and services into the business group.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management and monthly business reviews.
Using our sales systems such as CRM, and Miller Heiman sales philosophy.
Provide strategic, day-to-day and tactical business and product developmental support and leadership, including relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Digest data provided by market intelligence team and report out market data on the business unit. This includes establishing total available market size and Oceaneering market share for the business unit. Develop and review market share data with BU head and develop strategic plans to increase market share.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. This includes competitors market share in region, equipment volume and capabilities in region and any strategic alliances for competition.
Consult on pricing strategy based on the customer’s expectations, competitive situation, potential differentiators, and other factors. Communicate the pricing strategy to the proposal team and the approvals process to senior management.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our solutions.

This position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia.
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Technical arena, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of effective sales experience with at least 1 year in the oilfield industry or digital sales, including;
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems, Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and Presentation software.
Strong understanding of digital solutions, including software, cloud services, and digital transformation.
Experience in Business Development analytics and commercial strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Technically savvy and consistently up to date on Oceaneering products and services.
Primarily domestic travel and some international travel.
DESIRED
MBA from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience leading a sales team.
