We are seeking a dynamic talent to join our Indonesia Scent Commercial team as an Account Manager, Fragrances, focusing on the Fine Fragrance category.

Your Focus

As an Account Manager, you will drive profitable sales and IFF market share growth by identifying customer needs and opportunities. You will establish and build strong customer relationships, lead and coordinate IFF activities, and promote the sales of IFF fragrance solutions for Indonesian customers.

How You Will Contribute

  • Understand the specific market and customer environment, including activities, strategies, brands, markets, and consumer insights, and contribute to strategic commercial negotiations.
  • Identify prospects and customer opportunities. Develop, communicate, and execute high-quality account plans, reviewing strategies annually.
  • Handle project management activities, including providing detailed project insights, preparing presentation materials, gathering customer feedback, and updating system reports.
  • Ensure optimal working capital management and supply chain objectives, communicating scorecards to IFF Operations.
  • Gather and share knowledge on competitors, industry, market, consumer, and technology insights from daily interactions and industry networks.
  • Drive personal development by seeking and giving feedback, aligning SMART objectives with the manager, and creating development plans for growth.
  • Contribute to managing or mentoring Account Executives and Sales Representatives.
  • Handle P&L activities, including sales forecasting, monitoring performance, managing budgets and expenses, and implementing pricing strategies in line with regional policies.

What You Will Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Fragrance Development, Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5-6 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the Fragrance industry or FMCG/Chemicals.
  • Ability to work with financial concepts such as pricing, margins, and forecasting, and familiarity with IT systems.
  • Strong interest and passion for fragrances, product development, and market understanding.
  • Good knowledge of fragrances and olfactive skills are preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with good project management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to travel.
