A rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Manager in Jakarta. This role involves managing key customer relationships, acquiring new business, and ensuring client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills.
We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company looking for a highly motivated and client-focused Account Manager to manage and grow key customer relationships. The Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, acquiring new channels while identifying new opportunities to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong communication and coordination skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to understand and respond to client needs in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, reach out to, and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned accounts and serve as the key liaison between the company and clients.
Develop a deep understanding of client needs and provide tailored solutions to support their success.
Ensure timely delivery of products, manage orders, and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
Work closely with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth account operations.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and business expansion within existing accounts.
Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and report on key metrics.
Support client onboarding, training, and post-sale activities.
Maintain detailed records of account activities and communications in CRM systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles.
Prior experience in FMCG is required.
Has professional relationships in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical, Travel Agencies, Luxury Public Transportation, Airlines / Aviation, Specialty Stores (e.g., premium retail, niche product outlets)
Experience in the tobacco or liquor industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude.
Skilled in negotiation and handling client expectations.
Familiarity with CRM software and reporting tools.
Able to multitask and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Proficiency in English is a must.
