Get to Know the Role

As an Account Management Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential partners to drive growth for Grab. You will lead all elements of business identification, strategy, partnerships, account management, and execution. You will help co-create the business development plan and roadmap to ensure alignment with Grab's overall strategic direction and will be the key owner of various business development projects, ensuring their successful delivery. You will report to the City Manager. The role will be onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Collaborate with the City Ops Team, City Growth, & Marketing Team to execute merchant operational excellence, develop the best campaign strategies, and marketing strategies.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers to manage top merchants and oversee merchant allocation within the team.
  • Plan how to achieve targets for each Account Manager with clear instructions based on data analysis.
  • Be responsible for team performance and guide team growth.
  • Provide insights on ongoing campaigns, suggest improvements, and propose new campaigns that outperform existing ones.
  • Ensure all Account Managers' portfolios participate in campaigns to achieve topline targets.
  • Understand all ongoing campaigns and perform random checks to ensure Account Managers' understanding.
  • Act as a business consultant for Account Managers and merchants, especially when handling difficult situations, and think of better solutions in the moment.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 2+ years of experience leading a sales team, with a background in commercial sales and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and the ability to analyze data sets effectively.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with prospects and convey ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Fluent in both Bahasa and English.
