Qualifications

• 3+ years’ teaching experience in Computer Science with strong A Level CS experience.
• Experience teaching Cambridge International AS & A Level CS (9618).
• Understanding of Cambridge assessment requirements and exam preparation.
• Ability to teach programming, algorithms, data structures, and computational theory at A Level.
• Strong programming knowledge and practical programming experience.
• Excellent classroom management, organisation, assessment, and communication skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and student success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Cambridge International AS & A Level CS (9618) lessons.
• Teach advanced CS concepts: algorithms, data structures, systems, databases, networking, AI.
• Prepare students for Cambridge AS & A Level exams (theory and practical).
• Develop programming skills through languages, environments, and hands-on activities.
• Monitor progress using assessment data and differentiate instruction.
• Support progression from IGCSE to A Level within the curriculum.
