Job summary

Principal Asset Management Company (Asia) Limited in Wan Chai is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for the Wealth Management Department to source high-net-worth clients and maintain relationships with core clients while monitoring markets.

You will assess products, conduct due diligence, oversee new product launches, and produce regular portfolio analyses, staying current on HK and US equities, bonds, and FX, with strong proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and business English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related disciplines is preferred.
• Licensed Representative with SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 2 (Dealing in Futures) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licences is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of client-facing wealth management experience at Hong Kong securities firms or private banks; candidates with existing high-net-worth client resources are preferred.
• Language proficiency: fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and business English; able to read English product prospectuses.
• Good knowledge of Hong Kong & US equities, funds, bonds, structured products, AML/KYC requirements and SFC compliance framework

Responsibilities

• Source high-net-worth clients and maintain relationships with core clients.
• Continuously monitor market movements and product performance, and prepare regular portfolio analysis reports.
• Conduct due diligence on products for sale, assess risks, returns and target client segments; oversee new product launch workflows, keep abreast of industry trends and conduct periodic reviews and revalidation of products.
• Track macroeconomy, Hong Kong stocks, US stocks, bond markets, foreign exchange and other markets, and compile real-time news and market analysis
