Key Responsibilities

• Expert Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of luxury watches, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in assessing authenticity, condition, and provenance.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on their timepiece collections. Assist clients in consigning watches for auction.
• Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market values, and collector preferences to provide informed insights to clients and contribute to auction planning.
• Cataloging: Work closely with the cataloging team to create detailed and compelling descriptions of watches for auction catalogs, marketing materials, and online platforms.
• Auction Execution: Play a key role during auction events, presenting watches to potential buyers, answering inquiries, and facilitating the bidding process.
• Networking: Actively engage in networking events, industry conferences, and other opportunities to expand the auction house's presence in the watch community.

Qualifications

a minimum of 4 years related working experience in auction house or watch trades, an ability to appraise watches, excellent communication skills both written and oral - Cantonese, Mandarin & English. You must have a degree and have excellent time management/organisation skill and attention to detail. An existing network of clients would be advantageous.
