Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited is seeking an experienced product professional to source and evaluate multi-asset offerings for platform onboarding in Hong Kong.

You will conduct due diligence, manage relationships with banks and fund houses, translate complex products into sales-ready materials, and track regulatory developments to support go-to-market with front-office teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in product management or investment research at a bank or securities firm.
• Professional certification (CFA, FRM, CAIA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HK SFC guidelines, product due diligence (PDD), risk rating methodologies, and suitability requirements.
• Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, structured notes, funds, ETFs, FX, and derivatives.
• Proficient in Excel and Bloomberg; Python or data analytics skills are advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple workstreams across internal and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Track market trends and regulatory developments (SFC, HKMA). Produce research reports and product commentaries. Benchmark platform offerings and identify product gaps.
• Work with Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations to drive product approvals and go-to-market. Support front-office teams with training and client solutions.

Conduct full-scope due diligence on providers and prepare recommendation reports. Maintain product eligibility frameworks.

Establish and manage relationships with investment banks, fund houses, liquidity providers, and brokers to negotiate commercial terms, distribution agreements, and product access.
