Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Electronic Trading Solutions professional to enhance SOR and liquidity products for APAC markets. You will collaborate with Technology, Quantitative Research, Sales & Trading, and Compliance to shape requirements, deliver improvements, and monitor post-release performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on analytics, client-facing communication, and delivering measurable execution enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electronic trading, preferably cash equities, in a product, execution consulting, trading analytics role.
• Deep working knowledge of Smart Order Routing (SOR) and liquidity access.
• Strong understanding of APAC equities markets and microstructure.
• Solid knowledge of common execution algorithms and drivers of performance.
• Proven experience with pre-trade and post-trade TCA and translating outputs into improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve electronic trading and liquidity products, focusing on SOR and internalization.
• Define improvements, validate impact via diagnostics/backtesting where appropriate, and drive implementation.
• Provide execution consulting to internal partners and clients, recommending routing and workflow optimizations.
• Contribute to day-to-day product development and management for SOR and liquidity capabilities.
• Partner with Technology and Quantitative Research to deliver scalable enhancements and robust implementation.
• Track and communicate business and performance metrics, using insights to refine the product roadmap.
• Develop client-facing materials and educate sales and clients on product capabilities and outcomes.
• Ensure the platform aligns with market structure, regulatory requirements, and governance forums.
