Job summary

High Block Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced investment professional to manage virtual asset, digital asset and alternative funds. This role will develop strategies, oversee research and due diligence, and oversee portfolio construction and execution.

The candidate will monitor performance, market conditions and risks, support fund establishment and reporting, and collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal and Fund Operations to ensure SFC compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines.
5–8+ years of experience in fund management, asset management, hedge funds, private equity or alternative investments.
3+ years of virtual asset / digital asset investment experience preferred.
Proven experience in portfolio management and investment decision‑making.
Strong understanding of virtual asset markets, tokenomics, blockchain and related risks.
Experience in SFC Type 9 / VA fund management preferred.
Type 9 LR / RO, CFA or CAIA qualification is an advantage.
Experience in RWA / Tokenised Funds is an advantage.
Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage investments for virtual asset, digital asset and alternative investment funds.
Develop investment strategies and oversee research, due diligence, portfolio construction and execution.
Monitor portfolio performance, market conditions and investment risks.
Support fund establishment, investment management and investor reporting.
Work closely with the Investment Committee, Compliance, Risk, Legal and Fund Operations teams to ensure SFC compliance.
Identify investment opportunities in RWA, tokenisation and blockchain-related assets.
