Vietnam-based QA Manager – Garment & Quality Systems

Job summary

Eternity Consultants (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned QA/QC leader to drive the quality assurance system, coordinate cross–department workflows, and manage mold cup QC/QA in Vietnam. The role requires overseeing supplier performance and liaising with customers daily.

You should have a textile/garment QC background, fluency in English and Cantonese, and willingness to be stationed at the Vietnam factory for ongoing quality control across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Textile and Clothing Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in garment industry with at least 2 years in a similar position.
• Experience in quality control system & AQL system.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written & spoken English and Cantonese.
• Willing to station in Vietnam factory.

Responsibilities

• Drive the QA team to provide the overall direction and develop the quality assurance system.
• Coordinate with QA and QC team for quality issues and work with other departments for cross-departments’ workflows.
• Responsible for managing, training and controlling the mold cup QC and QA in Vietnam.
• Implement sound manufacturing practices or processes to ensure high quality of finished product and incoming materials.
• Assist to design and modify the existing workflow by computer system.
• Liaise with customers on a day-to-day basis to understand their standards and concerns.
• Discuss with suppliers for quality problems to achieve the target on quality standard.
• Evaluate and meet new and existing suppliers’ performance periodically and find improvement methods.
• Foresee and identify any potential quality problems during development stage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior and/or their designate from time to time
