The English Schools Foundation (ESF) Quarry Bay School Kindergarten (QBSK) seeks a collaborative Vice Principal to lead Pedagogy, IB PYP coordination, and Learning Diversity within a vibrant Early Years community in Hong Kong. You will work with the Head of School to balance curriculum leadership, daily operations, and teacher mentorship.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and strong experience in Early Years, IB, and inclusive education.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Strong grounding in Early Years philosophy, the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), and inclusive education practices.
Approachable, emotionally intelligent leadership with clear communication and strong prioritisation.
Desirable: experience in coaching, mentoring, or inter-agency collaboration for learning support.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic development and implementation of the IB PYP for Early Years learners.
Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and authentic assessment across portfolios and observations.
Guide staff through IB evaluation cycles, self-study processes, and curriculum documentation.
Design and facilitate workshops for staff and families, modelling inquiry-based learning.
Champion inclusion across classrooms and tailor strategies for diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with teachers, families and external specialists to build targeted support.
Provide practical coaching on differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.
Oversee school leadership and daily operations with a focus on well-being and culture.
