Job summary

Links International in Hong Kong seeks a senior valuation professional to independently value businesses, IP and financial instruments for M&A, litigation support and restructuring. You will guide teams to deliver high-quality valuation reports in accordance with HKFRS/IFRS and work closely with clients.

The role requires 5+ years of valuation experience, strong Excel and financial modelling skills, and familiarity with CIQ, Mergermarket, and Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or economics required.
• CFA, CPA, FMVA, etc. qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant valuation experience in an accounting/professional services firm.
• Proficient in financial instruments valuation and IFRS/HKFRS concepts.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent valuation for businesses, IP, financial instruments for M&A, litigation support, and restructuring.
• Assist in market and industry research and develop financial models and best practices.
• Assist in pitching for new projects with proposals, engagement letters, and marketing materials.
• Guide team to prepare and deliver valuation reports in line with international standards.
• Build and maintain client relationships and propose steps to improve networks.
• Plan, supervise, train and mentor juniors and interns on valuation topics.
