Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Hong Kong is seeking a capable valuation analyst to support business valuations, impairment testing and financial instrument valuations under HKFRS and IFRS. You will contribute to M&A analyses, and offer insight through market research and financial data collection.

The role requires a CFA candidate or holder, a solid foundation in accounting/finance, strong financial modeling and communication skills, and fluency in English, Chinese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related subjects.
• 1-2 years’ working experience in valuation of businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments.
• CFA holder/candidate is preferred.
• Good research, financial modeling and financial analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate particularly MS Office.
• Strong command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Business Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Carry out valuations for financial reporting purposes under HKFRS and IFRS, M&A and transaction purposes.
• Conduct industry research and financial analysis on comparable companies.
• Conduct data collection and market research for valuation purposes.
