Job summary

Chiyu Banking Corp Ltd is seeking an Assistant Manager to Manager (Treasury Settlement) on an agency contractor basis. The role covers daily treasury settlement operations including FX/MM, fixed income products and derivatives, with duties to check transactions and liaise with front office and brokers.

The candidate should have a business or accounting degree and 2-5 years of treasury operations experience, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SWIFT/RTGS/Euroclear/Clearstream as

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business, Accounting or related studies.
• 2-5 years of treasury operations experience.
• Experience with SWIFT/RTGS/Euroclear/Clearstream is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and independently.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access).
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily treasury settlement operations (FX/MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives) and HKTR reporting.
• Check and verify transactions, margin collateral, and fund transfer instructions.
• Liaise with front office, brokers and external parties to resolve settlement issues.
• Maintain internal controls to minimize risk; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in system implementation, UAT and ad-hoc projects (workflow design and testing).

Assistant Manager to Manager (Treasury Settlement) – Agency Contractor

Perform daily treasury settlement operations such as FX/MM, Fixed Income products, Derivatives processing and HKTR reporting

Check and verify transactions, margin collateral, fund transfer payment instructions

Liaise with front office, brokers and external parties to follow up settlement related issues

Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize risk exposure

Ensure smooth process of daily settlement and comply with policies and procedures

Participate in system implementation, UAT and ad-hoc projects, including workflow design, testing etc as assigned

Requirements:

Degree holder in Business, Accounting or related studies

2-5 years of relevant working experience in Treasury Operations

Experience in handling SWIFT/ RTGS/ Euroclear/ Clearstream / CMU is an advantage

Self-motivated, willing to learn and work under pressure and independently

Strong analytical and computer skills, proficiency in PC skills (MS Office) Microsoft Excel / VBA / Access etc

Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
