Job summary

Wah Kwong Ship Management (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Officer/Assistant Officer (Accounts and Treasury) to manage daily treasury activities and ensure accurate financial records. The role requires strong Excel/Word skills and fluency in English and Chinese, with a minimum of five years in accounting, finance, or treasury operations.

Hybrid or on-site work arrangements may apply. Candidate will handle payments, vouchers, bank reconciliations, and month-end close, while coordinating system

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or treasury operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations including execution and monitoring of outgoing payments, cheque issuance, bank transfers and e-banking transactions.
• Prepare and review payment and receipt vouchers, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate and timely recording of all transactions in the accounting system and treasury reports.
• Monitor daily bank balances and prepare related reports and reconciliations.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including journal vouchers, treasury analysis and monthly schedules.
• Coordinate and assist in accounting system testing and enhancements, ensuring compliance with procedures and controls.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to handle enquiries and resolve issues.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
