Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a 24-month trainee to support the Regulatory Transformation team in Hong Kong. The role covers PMO activities, governance coordination, and regulatory change management across Front Office, Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions.

You will gather requirements, assist in BRD development, coordinate UAT, and help implement compliant processes within a global banking context.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced regulatory and project management environment.
• Interest in financial markets, regulatory compliance, and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO activities: consolidate status updates, CAPEX tracking, portfolio maintenance, and logs.
• Coordinate governance forums, project meetings, and management reporting.
• Track deliverables, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Gather and document business, operational, and regulatory requirements from stakeholders.
• Participate in industry working groups and regulatory forums to monitor changes.
• Prepare BRDs, functional specs, process flows, and test scenarios.
