Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Systems Implementation & Support Specialist for a premier financial institution in Hong Kong. The role leads end-to-end trading system rollouts, optimizes front-office workflows, and manages market connectivity across major exchanges.

You will deploy and upgrade core platforms (OMS, EMS, PMS, RMS), collaborate with Front Office traders, Risk, Operations, and external vendors, and translate trading strategies into concrete configurations while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5 years of solid experience in trading systems implementation, support, or functional engineering within a brokerage, investment bank, or asset manager.
• In-depth understanding of institutional order lifecycles, execution logic, and trading workflows in equities and/or derivatives.
• Hands-on proficiency with institutional trading software (e.g., Broadridge, TS Imagine, Bloomberg EMSX, Eze Eclipse, Nyfix, or TORA).
• Strong technical capability with FIX Protocol integration and market structure mechanics across venues such as HKEX and CME.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin language proficiency preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, upgrading, and enhancement of core institutional trading platforms (OMS/EMS/PMS/RMS).
• Collaborate with Front Office traders, Risk Management, Operations, and external vendors on system initiatives.
• Translate multi-asset trading strategies and order lifecycle requirements into actionable configurations and business logic.
• Maintain real-time position tracking and robust risk controls including pre-trade limits and post-trade validations.
• Architect, test, and support FIX connectivity across DMA, algorithmic execution, and smart order routing channels.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot trading issues, and perform root-cause analyses to prevent downtime.
• Design comprehensive UAT scenarios and document trading workflows and procedures.

• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills under pressure, with proven success in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
