Job summary

BAH Partners, in partnership with a leading global digital assets and trading firm, seeks an Associate-level Production Support Engineer for its Hong Kong team. The role blends production ownership with coding, debugging and automation, operating like a small SRE/Production Engineering group across trading, risk and settlement systems.

You will build automation, monitor health, investigate issues, and collaborate with engineering teams worldwide.

Qualifications

Approximately 4–10 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, Go or C++.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience supporting production trading, risk, post-trade or other real-time financial systems.

Responsibilities

Own production support for business-critical trading and risk systems across APAC.
Investigate complex technical issues independently, including reading and debugging application code.
Work across platforms supporting trading, pricing, risk, P&L, options, structured products and derivatives.
Build automation and tooling to reduce manual support and improve platform reliability.
Monitor application health and performance, proactively identifying potential issues.
Lead or contribute to incident response, root cause analysis and production problem-solving.
Partner with engineering teams globally on fixes, enhancements and longer-term improvements.
Work directly with users and stakeholders across the trading business.
