Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for an Investment Bank in Trade Support for Securities Lending within APAC markets. You will manage trade lifecycle, settlements, and risk monitoring while driving process improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relations.

The role requires 2–5 years in a global bank or securities lending setting, with familiarity in APAC practices and experience with automation and analytics tools. HK location with full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience within a global investment bank, custody bank, or securities lending operations environment.
• Sound knowledge of global cash equities, securities lending, settlements, and post-trade operations.
• Familiarity with APAC market practices.
• Experience with automation, data analytics, or workflow tools such as Alteryx, UiPath, Duco, Power BI, or AI-enabled solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily processing of Securities Lending transactions across APAC markets, including trade lifecycle management and position monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate trade settlement, monitor risk exposures, and maintain complete and accurate books and records.
• Perform reconciliations, prepare operational reports, and investigate trade discrepancies, exceptions, and settlement breaks.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, counterparties, and external service providers.
• Identify system and process gaps, partnering with Operations, Technology, and key stakeholders to implement enhancements and conduct user testing.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.
