Job summary

Capco Hong Kong is seeking Senior Consultants to lead and support growth within the Securities Services domain, focusing on post-trade transformation for large banks and financial institutions. You will join a growing team of experienced professionals delivering end-to-end change across the post-trade lifecycle.

In this role, you will act as a project manager / business analyst on a post-trade transformation program with a leading investment bank, driving impactful process and technology changes

Qualifications

• 4+ years in corporate/investment banking or capital markets consulting.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and post-trade operations across multiple areas.
• Experience delivering process improvement and technology-enabled transformation in complex environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking Senior Consultants to support and drive our growth within Securities Services domain. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of experienced consultants, where you will have the opportunity to deepen and expand your expertise within the Capital Markets, supporting large-scale change initiatives for leading global banks and financial services.

This project is with a leading investment bank as a project manager / business analyst to support post-trade transformation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver transformation projects across post-trade transformation initiatives within investment banking.
• Analyze and improve end-to-end post-trade processes across trade capture, enrichment, allocation, confirmation, affirmation, settlement preparation, treasury and reconciliation, identifying opportunities to improve controls, efficiency and straight-through processing.
• Translate business and operational requirements into clear process and technology changes, working closely with operations, technology and business teams.
• Support improvements across areas such as Same-Day Affimation (SDA), STP, settlement readiness, exception management and reconciliation.
• Drive delivery through requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, testing, implementation and governance.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Minimum 4+ years of experience within corporate and investment banking, capital markets or financial services consulting.
• Strong understanding and experience in trade lifecycle and post-trade operations, with experience in several areas such as trade capture, enrichment, allocation, confirmation, affirmation, settlement, treasury or reconciliation.
• Experience delivering process improvement and technology-enabled transformation within complex operational environments.
• Knowledge of relevant post-trade technologies and standards, such as DTCC CTM or equivalent, FIX, SWIFT, ISO 20022, SSI/reference data, matching or settlement platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, technology and business teams.
