Job summary

Raffles Family Office in Hong Kong seeks an experienced execution professional to manage trade instructions, coordinate with external counterparties, and ensure accurate trade processing. The role supports clients and internal teams with strong due diligence and compliance practices.

With 3–5 years in trade operations, you will work closely with PMs/RMs and external banks, maintaining robust audit trails and timely trade confirmations. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in trade execution or dealing operations.
• Experience coordinating execution with external counterparties (e.g., private banks, brokers, custodians).
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Receive trade instructions from PMs/RMs and coordinate execution via approved counterparties (e.g., private banks).
• Perform pre-trade due diligence checks, including mandate/suitability and credit limit/exposure validation.
• Ensure trade orders are executed and processed properly; track order status and follow up on pending/amended/cancelled trades.
• Ensure accurate trade capture, confirmations and reconciliation to avoid incidents and dealing errors; elevate discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain strong market awareness to support execution timing and cut-offs, and maintain complete documentation and audit trails.
• Maintain working knowledge of clients’ profiles and RFO service offerings to support coordination and respond to client queries when required (non-advisory).

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in trade execution, dealing operations, trading operations, or execution support, preferably within a financial institution (e.g., private bank or asset manager); family office experience is a plus.
• Experience coordinating execution with external counterparties (e.g., private banks, brokers, custodians).
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
• Strong team player with a flexible mindset and solid interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with prior experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager will also be considered.
