HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong seeks qualified candidates for a Tenure-track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Non-communicable Diseases. This position offers a chance to lead research, teach students, and engage in various academic duties.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. and relevant experience in non-communicable disease epidemiology. The role includes highly competitive salary, annual leave, medical benefits, and potentially housing support as applicable.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a related discipline.
- Prior research experience in non-communicable disease epidemiology.
- Strong track record of high-quality research as indicated by publication record and external grants.
- Evidence of international recognition with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives.
- Strong commitment to teaching students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Responsabilités
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research.
- Take part in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Perform administrative duties.
