Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is inviting applications for an apprenticeship trainee posting at the Kwu Tung North Construction Site. The role focuses on assisting daily site operations while you pursue relevant certificates in building construction, quantity surveying, civil or building services engineering.

Selected candidates may join the Apprenticeship Training Scheme and progress within one of Hong Kong’s leading construction groups.

Qualifications

• Form 5 standard is required.
• Studying IVE Certificate/Higher Certificate in Building Construction, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or engineering relevant scopes.
• A good team player with dedication to the construction industry.
• Eligible to join the Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
• Prior completion of related programmes or diplomas is preferred.

China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.

Job Duties

Assist in daily site operation.

Requirements

• Form 5 standard.
• Studying IVE Certificate/Higher Certificate in Building Construction, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or engineering relevant scopes
• A good team player with dedication to the construction industry.
• Successful candidates will be eligible to join the Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
• Preference will be given to those who have completed:
• CITA Construction Supervisor Trainee Programme (Bldg Construction/ relevant scopes) OR
• Construction Technician Programme (QS) OR
• Completed Diploma/Higher Diploma of Bldg Construction/ relevant scopes.
