Job summary

A low-cost airline in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced professional to provide technical support for fleet maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in aviation engineering and 3 years in avionics systems. Role Purpose

• Provide technical support to HKE fleet with day-to-day activities for fleet maintenance requirements
• Technical assistance for in-service avionics system issues
• Support the continued airworthiness function
• Manage technical and commercial evaluation to meet the operational and regulatory requirements
• Provide AOG and on-site support
• Interact across Airline departments, vendors and aircraft manufacturers
• Review and evaluate ADs, SBs and other OEM technical documentation
• Develop EOs for the implementation of AD/SB requirement
• Compile the Task Cards per for AMS tasks
• Analyze the reliability issue of avionics system and recommend changes to RCB to improve/maintain reliability levels
• Support FOP MEL revision change (Avionics items) review bases on MMEL or other Modification
• Perform oversight on modifications and other ad-hoc projects
• Support projects to induct new and used aircraft onto the Hong Kong register and entry into service
• Perform and carry out other duties the Assistant Manager, Technical Service may assign

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree of above qualification in Engineering or any related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in aviation engineering; Minimum 3 years of related working experience in TS aircraft avionics system
• Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering License is preferred
• Experience of working with airworthiness authorities
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
• Design Organization experience preferable
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Engineer position.
