Job summary

Vertiv (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Technical Engineer, Thermal Management to lead design proposals, tender submissions, and on-site testing for complex HVAC projects in Hong Kong. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in HVAC, preferably with an engineering consulting background.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project, plus strong relationship-building and presentation skills, are essential.

• 5+ years of HVAC/cooling experience, preferably in engineering consulting.

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

• Prepare comprehensive HVAC/air-conditioning design proposals and tender submissions.

• Conduct FAT with clients to validate equipment performance prior to site deployment.

Technical Engineer, Thermal Management (Double Pay)

Tender & Design Proposals: Prepare comprehensive HVAC/air-conditioning design proposals, engineering drawings (AutoCAD), and competitive tender submissions.

Technical Pre-Sales: Attend customer inquiries and high-stakes tender interviews; deliver product presentations to consultants, clients, and at trade seminars.

Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Oversee on-site project execution, including installation, testing, and commissioning using MS Project to track timelines.

Quality Assurance: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) alongside clients to validate equipment performance prior to site deployment.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 5+ years of HVAC/cooling experience (engineering consulting firm background preferred).

Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project; strong relationship-building and presentation skills.

Languages: Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
