Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited seeks a Tech Lead/Senior Software Engineer (Java) to architect and build scalable online banking microservices. You will convert business goals into technical blueprints and deliver robust RESTful APIs with direct AEM integrations.

You will containerize services, automate deployments with CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive features while mentoring peers and improving platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development in Java with 2+ years in systems design.
• Hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating backend with CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager or similar).
• Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration experience.
• Proficient with Git and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first approach and rigorous code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust Java/Spring Boot microservices for online banking.
• Translate business goals into technical blueprints and scalable software solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations, including AEM.
• Lead code reviews, ensure automated tests, and enforce secure coding standards.
• Containerize services and automate deployments with Docker/Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver features on time.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to post-incident improvements.
• Document architecture and mentor teammates to improve efficiency.
