Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking a seasoned Senior Corporate Banking professional to lead a team covering Hong Kong and/or China large corporate clients. You will drive client coverage, business development, and strategic relationships to sustain growth through a full suite of banking solutions.

The role requires extensive corporate banking experience, a strong network in HK/ Mainland China, and proven leadership to coach Relationship Managers in achieving business objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in Corporate/Commercial/Institutional Banking with large corporate clients.
• Proven track record in relationship management and revenue generation.
• Established network within Hong Kong and/or Mainland China corporate markets.
• Previous team head or people-management experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of corporate banking products, credit assessment and risk management.
• Fluent English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

• Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers covering Hong Kong Large Corporates and/or China Large Corporates.

• Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships through comprehensive banking solutions.
• Work closely with internal product partners to provide suitable lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury and other corporate banking solutions.
• Manage the overall quality, performance and development of the corporate banking portfolio.
• Oversee credit proposals, client onboarding and internal approval processes in collaboration with Credit, Risk and Compliance teams.
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to Relationship Managers and support the team in achieving business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Corporate Banking / Commercial Banking / Institutional Banking, with solid exposure to large corporate clients.
• Strong track record in relationship management, client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Established network and client relationships within Hong Kong and/or Mainland China corporate markets.
• Previous Team Head or people-management experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of corporate banking products, credit assessment and risk management.
• Strong business development, negotiation and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
