Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Tax Manager in Hong Kong to oversee day-to-day tax compliance, filings, and serve as the primary liaison with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (IRD). The role requires coordinating with external tax agents and accounting firms to ensure timely, accurate submissions.

You will monitor regulatory changes, manage Transfer Pricing and international tax matters, and maintain comprehensive documentation while supporting management with risk assessments and quarterly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of professional tax experience.
• Minimum 2 years international tax experience, with knowledge of Transfer Pricing.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance Filing – Manage routine Hong Kong tax filings with deadlines.
• Tax Risk Management – Respond to daily tax queries; liaise with IRD, coordinate with external intermediaries, review deliverables.
• Regulatory Monitoring – Track IRD policies and changes; brief internal stakeholders.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for the Hong Kong entity's day-to-day tax compliance and filings, and will act as the primary liaison with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (IRD), ensuring the company meets all local statutory tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance Filing – Manage the Hong Kong company's routine tax filings, strictly observing statutory deadlines and ensuring accurate, fully compliant submissions with no late or incorrect filings.
• Tax Risk Management – Respond to day-to-day tax queries from the business, liaise with the IRD on audits and inquiries, coordinate external intermediaries, and review deliverables before submission.
• Regulatory Monitoring – Track the latest IRD tax policies and regulatory changes in real time, and brief internal stakeholders and management to keep the company's tax practices aligned with local requirements.
• External Liaison – Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the IRD, external tax agents, and accounting firms on all tax-related matters.
• Documentation Management – Organize, verify, and maintain tax records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications
