Job summary

KPMG (China and Hong Kong SAR) is seeking an Assistant Manager/Tax Consultant, Cross Disciplines, Tax to deliver advisory and compliance services to diverse clients. You will collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to develop commercial solutions and you will help manage regional tax projects.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years of tax experience in a sizeable professional services firm, and a professional qualification in Accounting or Law preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Tax experience with sizeable professional services firm.
• Professional qualification (Accounting or Legal) preferred.
• Ability to make sensible recommendations based on a sound assessment of advice and information gathered
• Logical, self-starter, team player, proactive and highly motivated
• Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including VBA is an advantage
• Less experience will be considered as Tax Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory and compliance services to clients in different specialist areas.
• Work with clients and cross functional project teams to develop commercial solutions which addresses their business needs.
• Manage regional tax projects
• Participate the development, promotion and implementation of tax process transformation for the firm and its clients
