Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Databases including monitoring, troubleshooting, installation, patching and upgrade
• Perform database tuning, backup and recovery, stress test, capacity planning
• Provide database support for Oracle within Unix, Linux and Windows environment
• Responsible for the daily support and maintenance of HRMS, QAS, PROIS, DP, the website and ITEMS
• Responsible for enhancing or modifying the features of HRMS, QAS and ITEMS to suit users' new requirements
• Responsible for updating and modifying the front-end module of the website and DP
• Provide helpdesk support services to users of HRMS, QAS and PROIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing or related subjects, or equivalent
• Minimum five years working experience in system administration
• At least 2 years working experience in Java development using J2EE and Oracle database administration
• Certification of Oracle Database 8i/9i/10g/11g Administrator Certified Professional or Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate is a plus
• Working experience in develop and administer program written in PL/SQL, JavaScript, JSP, JSF, JDBS, ODBC, HTML and JAVA
• Hands‑on working experience in Apache Tomcat and developing Java applications interfacing with Oracle databases is prefer
• Working experience in Portal, SAML, LDAP will be an advantage
• Knowledge and working experience in MSSQL and Jasper Report
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
