Job summary

Taylor Coulter seeks a System Analyst to work on government projects using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Vue, and NGINX. The role involves revamping legacy systems, improving UI/UX, and enabling auto-approval features to cut manual workload.

You will enhance e-payment integration with GCIS and Event Booking, participate in planning, vendor oversight, design, coding, testing, and user training.

Qualifications

System Analyst (Java, Springboot, python, Vue, NGINX)

Candidate will be assigned to work under government departments:

JobResponsibilities:

Responsible for two projects:1) To revamp the existing aged systems with latest technology for improving the system performance, providing better user interface and experience, and supporting more auto-approval features in operation to reduce staff manual efforts in processing; 2) To enhance the e-payment feature interfacing with Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) e-Payment Service and Event Booking feature

Assist in project planning and monitoring, including the management of outsourced vendors;

Perform system analysis and design;

Write code to implement the projects and test the systems;

Produce documentation and conduct user training; and

Provide on-going maintenance support of the systems.

Job Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

At least 4 years of experience in application development with 1 year in similar role

5 years of experience in J2EE development, SQL, Web programming and Web services

Mandatory technical skills for application support and development using:

ii) Python Programming Language (36 months)

iii) Spring Boot Framework (36 months)

iv) NGINX Web Server (36 months)

Experience in vendor management
