Job summary

Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) invites a seasoned sustainability professional to support strategy development, implementation, and risk/opportunity management across the Institute’s operations.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate the Sustainability Committee and liaise with regulators and stakeholders to advance sustainability agendas in Hong Kong and internationally. Strong communication in English and Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in sustainability, accounting, business or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in sustainability advisory, assurance or an in-house sustainability function.
• Sound knowledge of sustainability disclosure and assurance standards, and leading sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation and review of sustainability strategies and action plans.
• Coordinate work of the Sustainability Committee and prepare materials.
• Engage regulators and stakeholders to advance sustainability agenda.
• Manage sustainability reporting process in line with HKFRS S1/S2 and related standards.
• Identify capacity-building needs and develop CPD programs on sustainability topics.
