Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to drive a major supply chain data platform initiative. The role focuses on building ingestion pipelines for hundreds of tables from WMS and Geek+ systems, transforming data from Silver to Gold within a Lakehouse architecture to enable robust SSBI.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to define table structures, rules, metrics, and filters, and deliver clean data structures.

Qualifications

4–6+ years of data engineering experience focused on pipeline build and ETL/ELT workflows.
Strong expertise in Lakehouse platforms Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
Hands-on mastery of PySpark, Spark, and SQL for high-volume ingestion and transformations.
Good working knowledge of Power BI semantic layers and data flows.
Background in supply chain, logistics, WMS, or automated inventory systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and construct scalable data ingestion pipelines for hundreds of supply chain tables into Lakehouse.
Transform raw/silver data into gold-layer dimensional models to enable SSBI.
Ingest and model core WMS data and Geek+ datasets.
Partner with business teams to capture table structures, rules, metrics, and filters.
Build data flows and semantic structures in Databricks or Fabric to feed data to Power BI developers.
