Job summary

ConnectedGroup is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Technology Risk and Governance to shape and embed modern risk practices across a complex tech landscape. You will lead enterprise risk frameworks, partner with senior leaders, and drive resilience while enabling transformation.

The role demands a tenacious risk leader with strong governance, cloud, and DevSecOps exposure, capable of delivering executive-level insights and robust risk reporting to steer business growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Technology Risk, IT Governance, Operational Risk, Information Security, Internal Audit, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record leading technology risk management frameworks and governance initiatives in large, complex organizations.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving outcomes across matrixed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of enterprise-wide technology risk, control, and governance frameworks.
• Embed risk management across cloud, Agile, DevSecOps, and emerging tech environments.
• Partner with technology leaders to integrate risk into strategy, delivery, and operations.
• Oversee technology control frameworks, risk assessments, and remediation activities to strengthen controls.
• Develop and monitor KRIs, dashboards, and reporting for senior management insights.
• Analyze incidents and control failures to drive resilience and continuous improvement.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on technology risk and governance.
• Mentor risk professionals and foster a risk-aware culture across the organization.
