Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to provide financial support throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with Project Managers and business leaders to manage budgets, forecasts, billing, reporting, and governance.

The role emphasizes monitoring costs, assisting with invoicing, monthly reports, and risk/opportunity identification, ensuring profitability and compliance across project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience in accounting, project finance, or project accounting.
• Experience in engineering, construction, or project-based industries is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Deltek) preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• High attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support invoicing, revenue recognition, and collections.
• Produce monthly project financial reports and insights.
• Assist teams in identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• Support month-end closing, audits, and compliance.
• Partner with Project Managers and operations to drive project success.
