Job summary

CITIC Securities International (CSI) in Hong Kong is seeking a proactive Regional Research COO to shape strategy, drive revenue growth for the Research unit across APAC and globally, and enable data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with department heads and senior leaders to deliver strategic priorities, oversee operations, governance, and cost management, and improve processes for scalable performance in a risk-aware, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, IT, Data Analytics, Engineering or Management.
• 4+ years in business management, operations, project management or consulting.
• Data visualization and/or programming (Python) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel; AI prompting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand CSI’s Research business and objectives.
• Prepare materials for senior engagements including dashboards and Excel analyses.
• Lead business analysis, market research and data collection.
• Identify opportunities to digitalize workflows and improve efficiency.
• Oversee strategic projects from planning to delivery with stakeholders.
• Assist in day-to-day Research operations including governance and expense management.
• Coordinate communication across Research leadership and corporate functions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of the operating model.
