Li & Fung is seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager to drive food product sourcing and supply chain execution for the U.S. market.

You will manage supplier partnerships, execute sourcing strategies, ensure product quality and compliance, and deliver cost-effective solutions that meet customer expectations. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Food Science.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing/merchandising within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. food regulations, safety standards, and import requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main sourcing point for clients, delivering tailored solutions and market intelligence throughout the product lifecycle.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with food suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Ensure products and suppliers comply with food safety regulations, ethical standards, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate production and delivery schedules while managing supply continuity and risk.
• Analyze raw material costs and market trends to drive cost-optimization and present budget forecasts to stakeholders.
• Track emerging food industry trends and identify new supplier and product opportunities.
