Job summary

Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking an experienced ALM specialist to manage day-to-day balance sheet optimization, liquidity risk management, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with business units on ALM issues and prepare ALCO and FTP analysis papers for senior management. The role requires a university degree in accounting/finance, at least 3 years of banking ALM or management accounting experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Min. 3 years of banking experience in Asset & Liability Management or Management Accounting
• HKICPA/ACCA/CPA(Aust) qualifications are a plus
• CFA/FRM/CSTMP will be preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving mindset, detail-oriented, able to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office applications; VBA/R knowledge will be preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day balance sheet to optimize profitability and minimize risk
• Collaborate with business units on ALM issues and ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare ALCO pack and analysis papers for senior management
• Advise ALCO on optimal balance sheet structure and its impact on pricing strategies
• Support budgeting control process
• Develop, implement and manage Funds Transfer Pricing policy and process
• Maintain sound liquidity risk management with metrics, tools, limits, and stress tests
• Analyze Asset and Liability items with NII calculation
• Prepare meeting minutes for ALCO and FTP meetings
• Capable of handling HKMA or Auditor requests
• Support finance-related projects to enhance Asset & Liability and Liquidity Management
