Job summary

Reap is seeking a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead to own the embedded finance platform’s evolution. You will drive architectural direction, lead AI adoption across engineering teams, and partner with Card Engineering Managers to ensure delivery aligns with product goals.

You will mentor senior staff, set engineering standards, and tackle large-scale systemic improvements, from architecture to observability, at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership at Staff/Tech Lead level.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the embedded finance platform (scalability, modernization, debt).
• Lead AI-assisted engineering adoption across product teams with tooling and workflows.
• Collaborate with Card Engineering Managers to align platform direction with product delivery.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers; set engineering standards across the Card domain.
• Conduct architecture reviews and establish reusable patterns.
