Established in 1904, the Kowloon Cricket Club (KCC) is a private members’ club and is one of the leading sporting clubs in Hong Kong. We, promote participation in cricket and a wide variety of other sports, as well as encouraging social activities. We have a green environment in the heart of Kowloon. KCC’s facilities are also open to outside bodies such as schools and voluntary organizations, and we have a particular emphasis on training and nurturing the youth in many different sports.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate the Sport Counter for handling bookings and enquiries about any sport and recreation facilities and activities;
• Reserve the required facilities for sport and recreation activities and assist to arrange the calendar of sport related regular activities;
• Assist to plan and organize the sport and recreation events of the Department, Sport Sections or the Club;
• Assist to prepare the latest participation lists for various coaching and activities;
• Assist to update the playing records of various sport teams accurately and regularly by inputting the team lists submitted by the captains after each recognized league game;
• Conduct regular patrol/inspection to ensure the condition of the Club’s sport and recreation facilities, and enforce the Club’s Bye-laws whenever required;
• Work closely with other Departments/external service providers to ensure the safety, cleanliness, hygiene, neatness and appearance of the sport and recreation facilities are of highest standards;
• Work closely with other Departments/external suppliers to ensure the sport and recreation equipment of the Club are functioned properly and safe to use;
• Assist to maintain a proper record of different sport and recreation facilities usage and the patrol/inspection reports for future reference;
• Assist to collect the score cards of various sport teams after league matches for record purposes;
• Assist to verify the eligibility of all players of KCC Teams after receiving the score cards/team lists of each external league match regarding the membership status of the players;|
• Foster a good public relations with the members;
• Assist to ensure the occupational safety of the staff under Sports Department;
• Carry out any extra duties regarding sport and recreation facilities and activities assigned by the superiors.
