Job summary

The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants seeks a Senior Designer to serve as the Institute's sole in-house designer and brand guardian. You will conceive, art-direct and produce high-quality visuals translating the Institute's positioning and thought leadership into compelling output across print, digital, social and video channels.

Acting as custodian of the brand identity, you will maintain guidelines, templates and asset libraries, and coach colleagues on proper brand

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Multimedia or related disciplines
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant design experience, preferably including lead/sole in-house designer or senior designer in a creative agency
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, publication design, campaigns and digital/social creative
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro/After Effects) and Canva
• Bilingual typographic sensibility in English and Traditional Chinese; good command of English and Chinese

Responsibilities

• Act as custodian of the Institute's corporate visual identity, ensuring consistent brand application
• Maintain, refresh and enforce brand guidelines, templates and asset libraries
• Advise and coach colleagues on correct brand application as in-house design adviser
• Create scalable template systems for routine departmental requests
• Develop original concepts and provide art direction for brand positioning
• Hands-on creator and art director for brand assets, logos and marketing collateral
• Transform technical information into data visualizations, infographics and publication layouts
• Maintain photo, video and digital asset library with licensing and version control
• Create basic motion graphics and short-form video edits for corporate videos and events
• Familiar with video production, from storyboarding to post-production
• Brief and manage external studios and creatives to supplement in-house capacity
• Ensure vendor output meets quality, brand alignment, and timelines; approve proofs
