Mindteck Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to own the stability and reliability of software products post-deployment. You will fix bugs, troubleshoot, configure applications, analyze performance, and support system integration across the stack.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the smooth operation, reliability, and stability of our software products post-deployment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for bug fixing, troubleshooting, application configuration, performance analysis, and system integration support. You will work across the application and infrastructure stack to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Kafka, microservices, and containerized environments, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple systems and technologies.
Diagnose and resolve software issues across application, configuration, infrastructure, and integration layers.
Perform root cause analysis for production and customer-reported issues.
Investigate application errors, system failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity issues.
Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues before they impact customers.
Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Identify, analyze, and resolve coding defects in a timely manner.
Review application logs, error traces, and system behavior to determine the root cause of issues.
Implement code fixes and enhancements while minimizing the impact on existing functionality.
Conduct appropriate testing and validation before deploying fixes.
Support post-release verification and production monitoring.
Review, maintain, and update application and environment configurations.
Troubleshoot configuration-related issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Ensure configuration changes are properly documented and aligned with system requirements.
Support configuration optimization for application performance, stability, and compatibility.
Troubleshoot integration issues between applications, services, APIs, and external systems.
Support event-driven and message-based integrations using technologies such as Kafka, MQTT, and IBM MQ.
Analyze message flows, connectivity issues, authentication failures, and integration errors.
Work with development and integration teams to resolve interface-related problems.
Provide technical support for customer-reported software issues.
Investigate reported incidents and provide timely updates and resolutions.
Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in incident management and production support activities when required.
Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, root causes, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
Create and maintain technical runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
Document recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences.
Share technical knowledge and best practices with the wider engineering and support teams.
Work closely with Software Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product, and Customer Support teams.
Collaborate on incident resolution, release activities, system improvements, and production deployments.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of software reliability, support processes, and engineering practices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, application support, production support, or a similar role.
Proven experience in software development, debugging, and bug fixing.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
Experience troubleshooting applications across multiple layers, including application, configuration, integration, and infrastructure.
Good understanding of software development and production support practices.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
