Job summary

ATAL Engineering Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Software Engineer to develop IoT/Smart City solutions, focusing on micro-services, big data pipelines, and energy platform integration.

You will collaborate with research and project teams, perform design, coding, testing, and provide production support; 3–5 years of web or app development experience required, with Node.js/React.js familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/IT/EE or related field.
• 3–5 years of web or apps development experience.
• Familiar with DevOps, big data, ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on Smart City solutions such as IoT or IIoT platform.
• Develop, test and maintain micro-services for Smart City solutions and internal teams.
• Implement and manage ETL pipelines and the big data infrastructure for smart building and energy platform.
• Coordinate with research and project teams for collecting system requirements and user requests.
• Perform functional requirement analysis, program design, coding, testing for software applications.
• Prepare system and program documentation.
• Provide application support to production system.
