Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking engineers to join the Core Trading Platform team, building and operating ultra-low-latency electronic trading infrastructure. You will work with developers, traders and operations to optimize performance, reliability and scalability across global markets.

The role blends software engineering with production operations, focusing on automating toil, improving monitoring, and resolving complex incidents during high-pressure events.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Solid Linux systems knowledge and understanding of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own production health, stability and performance of critical trading systems.
• Investigate complex incidents spanning applications, infrastructure and networks.
• Build tools and self-service capabilities to reduce toil and improve operability.
• Design and improve monitoring, observability and alerting to reduce noise.
