Job summary

Experis in Hong Kong seeks a licensed SFC Type 9 Responsible Officer to oversee asset management operations for a family office and institutional clients. This senior role carries full regulatory responsibility for all investment activities and ensures compliant governance.

You will lead cross-border fund structuring, SFC filings, AML/CFT controls and risk management, and build long-term relationships with sovereign funds, pension funds and UHNW clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• Fully qualified and eligible to act as SFC Type 9 RO.
• Minimum 7+ years asset management experience across operations, compliance and risk management.
• Proven track record in private credit, private equity, multi-asset portfolios and alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as licensed SFC Type 9 RO with full regulatory oversight for asset management operations.
• Implement and enforce SFC standards, SFO requirements and internal compliance policies.
• Lead fund formation and cross-border structuring across Cayman, Luxembourg and international jurisdictions.
• Manage regulatory filings, SFC inspections and ongoing compliance communications.
• Establish robust internal controls, AML/CFT, risk management and product suitability frameworks.
• Supervise client onboarding, investment advisory, portfolio allocation and trade compliance.
• Leverage family office, institutional and HNW networks to maintain long-term relationships.
