Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant in Hong Kong to design, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions for clients. You will engage stakeholders, translate business needs into technical specs, and lead workshops for solution brainstorming.

The role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow, scripting (JavaScript/Python), and integration via APIs. You will contribute to testing, UAT, and post-implementation support while collaborating with a sharp, regional team.

Qualifications

• Must have ServiceNow System Administrator certification, Application developer and additional ServiceNow Specialist certification.
• Min 1 year of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, with hands-on experience in ground up implementations with ServiceNow products.
• Min 1 year of experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and all scripting module experience including client scripts, business rules, workflow, flow designer, script includes, UI actions, UI macros, UI pages etc. custom application development

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Gather, review and analyze business & operation requirements and translate into user stories.
• Understand business & operations needs and translate into technical requirement.
• Conduct workshops and meetings to facilitate solution brainstorming for both client and technical team.
• Perform gap analysis to identify the difference between current processes and desired outcomes, proposing solutions to bridge these gaps.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
• Advise on tools technology adoption based on business & technical consideration. Propose integration strategies for the various technology components to achieve a holistic solution.
• Able to design, develop, configure, test, implement, support and maintain ServiceNow solutions.
• Build Test cases, Facilitate UAT sessions with business users, and ensure that solutions are fit.
• Develop and execute test plans capture artifacts to ensure the solution meets the specified requirements and quality standards
• To support post implementation tasks including, troubleshooting, administration, patching and upgrades.
• To work with stakeholders and recommend best practices in areas such as App Engine.
• Lead in POC/POV, product evaluation and tech refresh activities

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Must have ServiceNow System Administrator certification, Application developer and additional ServiceNow Specialist certification.
• Min 1 year of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, with hands‑on experience in ground up implementations with ServiceNow products
• Min 1 year of experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and all scripting module experience including client scripts, business rules, workflow, flow designer, script includes, UI actions, UI macros, UI pages etc. custom application development
• Min 1 year of experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and widget development (Angular JS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Good to have experience with the following ServiceNow suites: App Engine.
• Advanced experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Knowledge and experience integrating ServiceNow using platform APIs and integration tools
