Job summary

Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Investment Counselor to support High-Net-Worth clients with professional wealth advice and premium service. You will report to the Head of Investment Advisory and collaborate with product teams to stay ahead of market developments.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, achieving business targets, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the advisory function. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• University degree with passes in HKSI Licensing Examinations or professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP preferred.
• Fulfilment of the competency requirements to carry out relevant regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
• Minimum of ten years' experience in selling investment and banking products.
• Strong sales and customer orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, all-rounded wealth advisory services to Private Banking and Trust Services clients that support frontline staff to achieve and exceed the assigned business targets.
• Work closely with various product owners to obtain updated wealth management solutions.
• Provide topical market and strategy updates to sales teams regularly.
• Raise awareness of latest regulatory or Group compliance requirements to frontline sales staff.
• Proactively communicate sales propositions and investment opportunities.
