Job summary

Egis in Hong Kong is hiring a senior Environmental Engineer to lead wastewater treatment design and project execution. You will optimize advanced treatment technologies and support deployment from concept through commissioning.

The role requires 5+ years in wastewater, strong process knowledge, AutoCAD skills, and readiness to travel. You will engage clients, monitor regulatory changes, and contribute to innovative solutions that meet HK EPD standards.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of wastewater treatment experience.
Strong knowledge of biological, physicochemical, and advanced treatment processes.
Familiarity with Hong Kong EPD regulations and discharge requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering documentation.
Commercial mindset and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize advanced wastewater treatment technologies and smart solutions.
Review process designs, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and engineering layouts.
Support project execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.
Provide technical leadership for business development, client engagement, and product innovation.
Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes.
